the choice of financial professionals

Is your website victim to any of these digital fallacies?

In the time Goldmine Media has been building websites, we’ve noticed that financial advisers come across a number of obstacles when it comes to web building. Is your website victim to any of these digital fallacies?

1. Not being mobile

If your website doesn’t appear or work properly on mobile devices (such as iPads, smartphones, etc.), you are missing out on a huge portion of web traffic. More people are now accessing the Web via a mobile device as opposed to a personal desktop computer.

This is known as the ‘mobile takeover’, but however you refer to it, it’s vital to your online presence.

2. A poor website design

If your website is not appealing and easy to use at first glance, people just won’t use it. We’ve found that around nine out of ten web visitors will leave a site and not return if they can’t find the information they came for within 30 seconds. That’s significant.

On the other hand, with the right tools and by making it easily accessible, your website can become a prospect-generating machine.

3. Not updating your site

When web visitors notice that a site hasn’t been updated in months or even years, they’ll probably start to wonder what else is being neglected. Keeping your website up to date is one of the simplest yet most effective things you can do for your entire marketing strategy.

Consider starting a blog. Even if you only blog on a monthly basis, the fresh, value-added content will boost your SEO and your website’s credibility.
